Stevensville is a village in southwest Michigan within Benton Harbor, Michigan. The village sits within Lincoln Township near the shore of Lake Michigan off of I-94. The area is dotted with beautiful parks for fun and relaxation. Stevensville is home to Grand Mere State Park with its magnificent sand dunes, deep blowouts and one mile of Lake Michigan shoreline. Three inland lakes: North Lake, Middle Lake and South Lake that lie behind the dunes in the undeveloped natural area. Lincoln Township Beach with swimming, hiking and a great picnic area is also in Stevensville.
Being neighbors with St Joseph to the north gives the residents in this community easy access to arts, entertainment and great shopping in downtown St Joseph. Restaurants line Red Arrow Highway leading to and from Stevensville. Art galleries and antique shops also line Red Arrow Highway leading to and from Stevensville. There are so many great summer activities in Stevensville. In the Municipal Parking Lot the town shows movies on a large screen. They try to do it weekly during the summer. They call the event “Stevensville Movie Night”. They sponsor an annual village wide yard sale in the summer. They are also known for their “Liberty Days” festival that is over 40 years old and includes a car show, flea market, food, and kids activities.
This area is family friendly with lots of neighborhoods. Stevensville shares a school system with Baroda Michigan called Lakeshore Public Schools. The real estate ranges from Lake Michigan waterfront homes, condos, family neighborhoods with price points $100,000 to millions.
