Located in east central Berrien County, Michigan and a small part of Cass County there is a small under 1 square mile village called Eau Claire, Michigan.This quiet village lies in both Berrien Charter Township and Pipestone Township.The area has rolling hills covered with grapevines and fruit trees. Every summer Eau Claire hosts a Cherry Festival with fireworks, live music and a parade. Tree-Mendus Fruit Farm on East Eureka Road hosts an annual International Cherry Pit and Spit Competition each summer. They have three great parks; Veterans Park on Main & Second, Elizabeth Park on Hoyt Street and the Village Ball Field on Fourth Street. The hill at Veterans Park is used in the winter for lighted sledding.
Eau Claire has a 120 acre allsport lake by the name of Pipestone Lake that is popular with the locals. There are some smaller lakes in Eau Claire: Black Lake with 20 acres, Rowe Lake with 31 acres, Jarvis Lake with 24 acres. Rowe Lake with 31 acres and Brush Lake with 60 acres.
There are three schools in Eau Claire: Lybrook Elementary, Eau Claire Middle and Eau Claire High School. The village has a great library on East Main Street. The Eau Claire District Library is a friendly library with public computers, WIFI and restrooms. There are several companies within Eau Claire. Shawnee Specialties on Third Street, Hofmann Industries on Love Road and Big C lumber on East Main Street to name a few. Eau Claire is close to St Joseph and all that they have to offer. Great dining, shopping, beaches and entertainment. There is a nice range of homes in this area from million dollar homes, starter homes, lakefront homes to vacant land.
